Winter 2008:
Dr.Burke is the first surgeon in Michigan to offer the SmartLipo™ MPX Dual Wavelength Laser System for Fat Removal and Skin Tightening.
Doctor Burke to present on his clinical experience with minimally invasive laser liposculpture with the SmartLipo™ dual wave MPX system at the twenty-fifth annual American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery meeting January 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona. He has also been invited to symposia panels exploring clinical use of this technology.
We are a Cynosure Smart Lipo CENTER OF EXCELLENCE. Due to Doctor Burke's experience, teaching, and research on applications and clinical use of minimally invasive laser technology (SmartLipo™ MPX laser lipolysis), we were selected as a Cynosure CLINICAL RESOURCE CENTER. This provides observation, clinical teaching, and research for surgeons in the United States as well as international surgeons from other parts of the world.
Doctor Burke has applied MPX dual wave laser technology to single body regions and to large, multiple body regions. Patients who were not candidates for traditional liposculpture-liposuction may now be treated successfully.
Mommy Makeover is a wonderful application of SmartLipo™ MPX laser assisted liposuction-liposculpture and body contouring. Many women have been able to eliminate the "Mommy Pouch" with this technology alone. It has also been applied to mini abdominoplasty which can be done at the same time.
We work with Elite aftercare to provide transportation and care to patients traveling alone or wanting extra care and transportation.
